The largest online bank of Switzerland is preparing to launch its own crypto exchange. As per the information provided by chief of sales and marketing officer of Swiss quote, Jan De Schepper, the bank is planning to open the trading platform before the end of first half of 2022. The objective of this is to become the leading Swiss provider of digital assets. 

Apart from this the Swissquote bank also plans to add staking services and stable coins to its list of crypto offerings. At present 24 crypto currencies are supported by the bank. 

In order to meet the surging demand of cryptocurrencies, Swissquote started expanding its workforce and will continue to do so. 

Crypto investments have raised the bank’s income by over 1,000% to 63.2 million Swiss francs in the first half of 2021.
